Rules of the advertising contest “Back to the school”
This contest, sponsored by CPS Tutoring, will allow one of its current or future clients to win thirty-five (35) hours of tutoring, for a total value of $ 1,575.00 Canadian, online or at home, for one of the following subjects: French, mathematics, English, science, social sciences or other subjects. These hours will be valid for all services offered by CPS Tutoring, as well as for any special needs.
Anyone who has booked a minimum of six (6) hours of tutoring with one of our tutors between August 30, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. ET and December 19, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. ET, by email, phone, chat or by the contact form on the “Request for a Tutor” webpage is automatically eligible for the draw, subject to one (1) entry per client.
The draw will be made at 1-4802 Rue de Verdun Montreal, Quebec H4G 1N1, Canada on December 20, 2021 at 10:00 ET by the Contest Sponsor.
The winner will be notified of the prize by email within twenty-four (24) hours of the draw and the winner’s name will be announced on www.tuteurcps.com/backtoschool-contest on December 20, 2021 at 12:00 ET. The email used by the Contest Sponsor to notify the winner will be the one sent by the customer when making the original reservation of tutoring hours.
In the event that the winner drawn does not respond within fourteen (14) days or if that person refuses the prize or can not accept it, the Contest Sponsor reserves its right to draw the name of a new person, eligible for the contest under the conditions set out above.
The thirty-five (35) hours of free tutoring must be held from January 3, 2022 to June 24, 2022, excluding the March break period and holidays, i.e. for a total of twenty-three (23) weeks, subject to a session of one (1 ) to two (2) hours per week and for one (1) only subject among those mentioned in the first paragraph of the rules of the “Back to School” publicity contest.
Only the person drawn or the child for whom the tutoring sessions have been booked will be able to benefit from this prize. It can not be transferred or resold to another party.
Article 10: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement”
Article 12: A person for whom a publicity contest is carried on, his employee, representative or mandatary, a member of the jury and the persons with whom they are domiciled may not enter the contest.
The masculine is used indiscriminately, for the sole purpose of readability.
